Jewelry Care
A little attention for lasting Beauty
Everyday Care Guide
Fine jewelry is made to be treasured. With thoughtful care, you can preserve the warm glow of gold, the brilliance of diamonds and the rich luster of black Tahitian pearls for years to come.
Put your jewelry on after applying perfume, cosmetics and lotions, allowing products to dry first. Even though you can wear our jewelry all day long, it might be better if you like to remove it before swimming, showering, exercising or using household cleaning products. Avoid harsh chemicals, excessive heat and activities that could scratch or damage your pieces.
Gold benefits from gentle handling and regular cleaning. For gold pieces without pearls, use lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Clean gently with a soft cloth, rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste and rough polishing materials, which can scratch the surface. Store each piece separately to prevent rubbing and tangling.
Note: Black Rhodium finishes may gradually fade with wear, revealing the gold beneath and giving each piece an individual patina.
Regular cleaning helps diamonds retain their sparkle. For diamond jewelry without pearls, use lukewarm water, mild soap and a very soft brush. Gently clean around the stone and its setting, then rinse and dry with a lint-free cloth.
Although diamonds are exceptionally hard, a sharp impact can chip them or damage their settings. Therefore it is good to handle your pieces with care.
After each wear, wipe your pearls with a soft, clean cloth to remove residue. If needed, lightly dampen the cloth with lukewarm water. Avoid soaking pearl jewelry, and allow it to dry completely before storing.
Keep pearls away from perfume, hairspray, cleaning products and abrasive materials. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners on pearl jewelry.
Store your pearls separately in a soft pouch or fabric-lined box, away from heat and direct sunlight. Avoid airtight containers, as excessively dry conditions can damage pearls.
