Meet the Founder
For founder Nina Scholda, a passion for jewelry has always been part of her story. As a child, she designed and sold her own handmade jewelry at local markets, turning creativity into some extra pocket money.
Her greatest fascination was her mother’s black Tahitian pearl necklace and the faraway islands of Tahiti these pearls come from. One of those islands, Mo’orea, lived in her imagination long before she ever set foot there and eventually inspired the name of her own: MOEYA.
Today, MOEYA brings that lifelong love of jewelry into her own vision: 18 kt recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds, with black Tahitian pearls as a personal signature.
